Dhofar University Cultural Week Features Student’s Talents and Projects
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al-Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor of Dhofar University Professor Amer bin Ali Al Rawas attended the opening ceremony of the University’s cultural week organized between March 3-5, 2024, which reflected the encounter of the international students’ cultures and civilizations with the Omani heritage. The opening ceremony included a documentary film on the activities of the cultural week, paintings, and musical performances by the Drama Group, and the launching of the students’ activity village set up on Campus. The village highlights varieties of students’ artistic products and activities such as Play Station Tournament, poetic recitations, and the athletic activities in Sultan Qaboos Cultural Complex in Salalah accompanying the Cultural Week.
Dhofar University’s Cultural Week is a mixture of cultural, intellectual, athletic events coming together to reflect students and the University’s creativity across colleges with varieties of activities and programs in many fields.
