First in Oman: The College of Engineering singed an MOU with Green Building Solutions Summer University (GBS) in Vienna

On behalf of Dhofar University, Prof. Amer Al Rawas, the Vice Chancellor, signed an MOU with the Green Building Solutions (GBS) Summer University, organized by prestigious universities in Vienna. The Summer University is mainly organized in cooperation with many Austrian universities such as the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna, Technical University Vienna, University of Vienna. There are more than 60 international partners support the GBS. The program encompasses three weeks of intensive courses, field visits, and practical projects. This initiative blends theoretical learning with practical application in sustainable construction. The program aims to enhance student knowledge and integrate diverse scientific backgrounds, especially sustainability and environmental development, within the College of Engineering’s Department of Architecture. The College of Engineering will also provide one distinguished student with a unique scholarship opportunity, organized by Dr. Lamiaa Mostafa from the Department of Architecture Engineering.
