Successful Completion of the Supplier Management Training Program at Dhofar University

The Center for Training Development of Human Resources at Dhofar University has successfully completed a specialized training program titled “Supplier Management.” This 12-hour course spread over the month from May 1 to May 29, 2024, was specifically designed for the staff of the Purchasing Department and the Bookshop section. The training aimed to enhance their proficiency in procurement basics, strategic supplier management, and risk assessment. During the program, participants were introduced to practical tools and methodologies, such as the MoSCoW method and Porter’s Five Forces. These tools were not just theoretical concepts but applied in real-life scenarios to refine procurement strategies and enhance operational effectiveness. The course focused on decision-making and strategic analysis, equipping staff members with the skills necessary to significantly impact the university’s procurement goals.
