Dhofar University's Engineering College Crowns Electrical and Computer Engineering as Football Champions

In an electrifying atmosphere and an exceptional sporting event, the College of Engineering at Dhofar University successfully concluded its Inter-Departmental Football Championship, held from November 10 to 24, 2024. Four teams representing different departments competed in a series of thrilling matches that showcased outstanding performances and high sportsmanship, fostering teamwork and positive competition among students. The championship title was claimed by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering after an exciting final match against the Department of Chemical Engineering, which secured the runner-up position. The final match witnessed distinguished attendance, including the Dean of the College, Dr. Issam Al-Bahdoor; the Assistant Dean, Dr. El Manaa Brahmi; the tournament organizer, Dr. Paul Okonkwo; and the Head of Sports Activities at Dhofar University, Mr. Salem Kashoob, alongside faculty members from the College of Engineering. Their presence added significant importance to the event.
