A field visit from the Ministry of Health to the Student Counseling Center at Dhofar University

As part of their visit to Dhofar University to recognize the health services provided to students, a delegation from the Ministry of Health visited, including representatives of the School and University Health Department at the Ministry’s General Office in Muscat, from the School and University Health Department in the General Directorate of Health Services in Dhofar Governorate, and from the General Directorate of Private Health Institutions in Muscat. The visit included getting acquainted with On the Student Counseling Center closely and about the role that the center plays in serving all members of the university and the local community, Prof. Dr. Nasser Said Abdelrasheed, Director of the Center, provided a full and detailed explanation to the guests about the services and programs provided by the Student Counseling Center, about the mechanisms for communicating with the Center, how to book appointments and interviews with specialists, and benefit from private consultations, as well as about the specialized workshops and courses that the Center offers, whether to university members or to specialized entities wishing to benefit from the expertise. The distinguished guests expressed their sincere thanks for the warm reception from the center’s staff and for all the cognitive and practical benefits they gained from this visit. The delegation also praised the activities, events and programs offered by the center, expressing their happiness at what they saw at the center, with a promise to show the experience of the Student Counseling Center at Dhofar University as a useful one.
