A workshop for employees of the Salalah Court of Appeal on "Adapting to the Work Environment" organized by the Student Counseling Center

Within the framework of the continuous cooperation between Dhofar University and the various institutions of society, and desiring to develop and grow the staff in all respects, a workshop was organized on Thursday 22 of June 2023 for the employees of the Court of Appeal in Salalah, presented by Prof. Nasser Said Abdelrasheed, Director of the Student Counseling Center and Professor of Psychological Counseling.

At the beginning of the workshop, Sheikh Amer bin Muslim Al-Amri, instead of President of the Court of Appeal in Salalah, thanked Dhofar University and the Student Counseling Center, then Professor Nasser Said Abdelrasheed talked about the most important skills that the employee needs, which are personal skills, technical skills and social skills. Then, some tips were discussed to reduce work Stress and adapt to the work environment.

Then, the techniques of dealing with the public were dealt with, from commitment to time and emotional control, positivity and passion in work, and then it was discussed how to deal with the personality types of auditors from the audience, such as the visual personality, the auditory personality, the sensory personality, the introverted personality, and the neurotic personality.

At the end of the workshop, discussions and questions took place on the topic of the workshop, and then Professor Nasser Said Abdelrasheed was honored for his efforts in the workshop.
