Awareness Lecture on Achieving Balance Between Academic and Recreational Life at the University

As part of the activities and events organized by the Student Guidance Center for the Fall 2024/2025 semester, and under the theme of awareness lectures and workshops for students, Dr. Mohamed Bassiouni, Assistant Professor of Social Work in the Department of Social Sciences, delivered a lecture on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, titled Enjoy Your University Life: Achieving Balance Between Studies and Recreational Activities. In his lecture, Dr. Bassiouni discussed the importance of time management in achieving a balance between academic and personal life. He emphasized the need for students to maintain a balanced commitment to both social and academic relationships. He also highlighted the importance of practicing hobbies and utilizing individual talents. Dr. Bassiouni stressed the benefits of setting priorities and organizing goals in a structured manner. Additionally, he underscored the significance of proper planning and the use of planners, whether paper-based or digital, to manage time and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
