Celebrating Success: CAAS Honors Participants of the Virtual Exchange Program with Tulane University
The College of Arts and Applied Sciences (CAAS) at Dhofar University held a certificate-giving ceremony to honor the students who participated in the virtual exchange program with Tulane University. This event marks a significant achievement in our continuous effort to provide quality education with an international perspective.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Dhofar University and Tulane University in 2020 laid the foundation for this successful collaboration. Since then, the Department of English Language and Literature, the Department of Education, and the Department of Arabic Language and Literature have actively engaged in virtual exchanges with instructors and students from Tulane University.
To date, an impressive number of 453 DU students have participated in the virtual exchange program. Our students had the unique opportunity to co-produce learning resources, engage in virtual presentations, and attend virtual lectures.
The certificate-giving ceremony was not only a celebration of the students’ achievements but also a recognition of the hard work and dedication of DU instructors that went into making this program a success.
Dhofar University extends heartfelt gratitude to Tulane University for their partnership in this enriching program. We eagerly anticipate future endeavors that will continue to elevate the academic experience and international exposure of our students.
Together, we grow and learn.
