Center for Career Services and Alumni and College of Commerce and Business Administration Organize a Seminar on Banking Sector

Dhofar University Center for Career Services and Alumni, in collaboration with the College of Commerce and Business Administration, invited Mr. Mohammed Al Balushi, Regional Manager of the National Bank of Oman, to a talk in the banking sector as part of ongoing efforts to provide students with the necessary knowledge about financial trends and job opportunities available in the banking sector. The speaker presented a comprehensive overview of banking services to students, explaining the structure of income and expenses in banks, as well as a brief analysis of the balance sheet and income statement. He also addressed the importance of digital transformation in the banking sector and its increasing impact on the future of financial services. The seminar highlighted banks’ key role in supporting economic growth, as well as digital innovations that have brought about a qualitative shift in the delivery of banking services and enhanced efficiency and financial security. It is worth mentioning that, by organizing such seminars, the Center for Career Services and Alumni aims to enable students to understand the mechanisms of work in the banking sector and explore the job opportunities available in it.
