Dhofar University 2024 Career Guidance Exhibition

Dhofar University Career Services and Alumni Center organized the 2024 Career Guidance Exhibition, under the auspices of His Excellency Shiekh Mohammed bin Saif Al Busaidi, Wali of Salalah, presence of Professor Amer Al Rawas, Vice Chancellor of the University and participation of College Deans and top administrative staff. The Exhibition aimed to guide students for their prospective career and serve the University’s bid to equip its students with skills and knowledge that meet the labour market. It is worth mentioning that more than 25 well-known institutions in both public and private sectors took part in the Exhibition this year in an indication of its significance in strengthening the link between students and the leading institutions in the industry. Mr Mohammed Al Rawas, Director of Career Services and Alumni Center, expressed the importance of the Exhibition for the students’ career by stating that it reflects the commitment of Dhofar University to support and train students by providing opportunities for direct contact with leading institutions. This year, the Exhibition was visited and commended by a considerable number of students and graduates, who seized the opportunity to learn about employment opportunities through interactive encounters with representatives of different companies and institutions. By organizing such events, the University seeks to enhance interaction between students and the public and private sectors and enable them to establish a successful career. The University undertakes to sustain these initiatives in the future, keeping in mind the requirements of the job market and enhancing the quality of its graduates.
