Dhofar University and ‘Commerce’ Sign Consultancy and Research Cooperation Programme

In a move that indicates the commitment to developing academic and professional cooperation, Dhofar University and the Directorate General of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in Dhofar Governorate signed a cooperation program to enhance consultancy and exchange of expertise and research between the two sides. The programme aims to provide a common framework for consultancy, knowledge-sharing, skills development, and maximum use of available resources for desirable results.

Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Professor Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, and Sheikh Jamal bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Director General of the Directorate General of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in Dhofar Governorate witnessed the signing ceremony, commending this significant cooperation which contributes to enhancing academic quality and providing innovative solutions to common challenges. The two sides also reaffirmed their commitment to offering and implementing joint initiatives, including consultancy, sharing expertise, workshops, and seminars.

Professor Amer Al Rawas commented that this collaboration is part of the University’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with various institutions to support academic excellence and extend consultancy. In this context, the College of Commerce and Business Administration at Dhofar University is drafting an advisory study proposal on the investment environment potentials in Dhofar Governorate in various sectors.
