Dhofar University Concludes the Training Program “Basic of Computer Use” for the Hearing-Imparid
Dhofar University, represented by the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education, concluded the training program “Basics of Computer Use” for the hearing-impaired. The program ran from October 20 to November 7,2024, and was led by Ms. Fatima Abdulmunim Al-Rawas, Head of the IT Section at the Preparatory Studies Center. It targeted employees from various government entities, covering several practical and applied topics to enhance participants’ computer skills.
This program aligns with the university’s role and commitment to supporting and empowering the hearing-impaired community by providing accessible and interactive learning opportunities. The program concluded on Thursday, November 7, 2024, under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Marhoon, Assistant Director General of Human Resources at the Royal Court Affairs.
The closing ceremony began with a speech by the Director of the Center for Community Service and Continuing Education, followed by a few simple segments, and concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants in recognition of their efforts and successful completion of the program.
The center extends its gratitude to all supporters of this program, particularly the Disability Support Unit at the university, the College of Engineering, and the Preparatory Studies Center, for their significant contributions to the success of this initiative and for providing all necessary facilities.
