Dhofar University Participates in Erasmus+ Info Day

Dhofar University participated in the Erasmus+ Info Day held on November 1st, 2023, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MOHERI) of Oman in collaboration with the European Union. The event, held under the patronage of Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the Sultanate of Oman, took place at the Arab Open University in Muscat and brought together European experts alongside representatives from all major universities in Oman.

The Erasmus+ Info Day served as a valuable platform for sharing insights on collaborative opportunities between Omani institutions and European counterparts. The event also facilitated the exchange of best practices, fostering a deeper understanding of the Erasmus+ program and its potential benefits for Omani students, faculty, and institutions.

Dhofar University’s participation in the Erasmus+ Info Day reflects its commitment to internationalization and its dedication to providing its students with a world-class education. The International Cooperation Office is actively exploring opportunities to engage with European institutions through the Erasmus+ program, with a view to expanding its international network and enhancing the academic experiences of its students and faculty.

In light of this, the International Cooperation Office (ICO) is hosting DU Erasmus+ Info Day for faculty members interested in the following areas: Green Energy, Water Management, Urban Design, Artificial Intelligence, Global Health and Sustainable Tourism.
