Dhofar University Secures Erasmus + Grant for Sustainable Tourism Project
In a momentous achievement, Dhofar University has been awarded the prestigious Erasmus+ grant for the first time. The grant will support a pioneering project focused on Sustainable Tourism, a critical sector with significant implications for the region’s economic and environmental development.
The project has been entrusted to a distinguished group of faculty members at the College of Commerce and Business Administration of Dhofar University, led by Dr. Mohammad Bait Ali Sulaiman. The team members include Dr. Muzaffar Asad Sheikh, Dr. Kamaal AL Lil and Ms. Lujain Mohsen El Maghraby.
Erasmus+ is a flagship European Union program that promotes international collaboration and mobility in education and training. It provides financial support to higher education institutions for a wide range of initiatives aimed at fostering cross-border cooperation and improving the quality of education.
