Dhofar University Students starts their training in Eidaad Program
A group of Dhofar University students have enrolled in Eidaad program, a training program, with one of the distinguished companies in the Sultanate of Oman, OQ, and the Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) company. Eidaad program is sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation in collaboration with many industrial companies. The aim of this program is to enhance education and provide developmental opportunities for skills through a 9-month training.
The students Hassan Al-Marza (Mechanical Engineering) and Shahad Al-Shuqsi (Translation) have joined the training program at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). Meanwhile, another training and skill development program offered by OQ to the students from various disciplines: Noora Tabuk and Sarah Al-Kathiri (Chemical Engineering), Rayan Al-Mashani (Information Systems Management), Muna Qatan (Computer Science), Noor Al-Murrza and Mizon Kashoob (Translation).
Amal Al-Marfadi, the focal point of ‘Eidaad’ program in Dhofar University, emphasized that this training program presents an exceptional opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and enhance their work skills. Also she mentioned that it came within a competition that involved more than 500 students from universities all over the Sultanate of Oman. This initiative is considered an important step to promote education, develop, and motivate youth to achieve their academic and professional goals, especially since the program offers a variety of educational and scientific experiences, as well as training opportunities in multiple specialties. This contributes to acquiring professional skills, organizational behavior, adapting to the work environment, overcoming professional challenges, and displaying and honing personal skills, which are expected to lead to significant success for the training program.
