Dhofar University Summer Academy Program Concludes with a Special Ceremony

Under the patronage of Prof.Amer Ali Al-Rawas, Vice Chancellor of Dhofar University, the Dhofar University Summer Academy Program concluded on Sunday, July 28, 2024. The ceremony was attended by students’ parents, along with several administrative and academic staff members.

The event featured a variety of cultural segments that showcased the creativity and talents of the participating students. Attendees praised the efforts put into organizing the program and the tangible results achieved by the students during the academy.

At the end of the ceremony, participation certificates were awarded to the students, with many expressing their happiness and pride in this unique experience that helped develop their skills and enhance their abilities.

Ms. Ameera Nasser Al-Yafii, Head of the Languages section at the Community Service and Continuing Education Center, noted that these efforts reflect the university’s commitment to offering diverse and exceptional programs. She added that the program included English language studies, information technology, engineering workshops, as well as cultural programs and field visits. This reflects the university’s mission in education, learning, and community service, and underscores its vision of implementing the concept of lifelong learning.
