Dhofar University Welcomes Al-Mahra University Delegation

On Sunday, August 6th, 2023, Dhofar University’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Amer bin Ali Al-Rawas, met with Dr. Anwar Mohammed Kulshat and his delegation from Al-Mahra University, Yemen. Key members, including the Deans of Dhofar University, also attended.

During the meeting, the delegation was informed about Dhofar University’s historical trajectory, its academic programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and its prominence in scientific research. The university’s global collaborations, its role in hosting international conferences, and facilitating student exchange and training programs were also discussed.

The delegation was apprised of Dhofar University’s commitment to community service, particularly through the Community Service and Continuing Education Center. The role of the Training and Development Center in human resource enhancement was also highlighted.

The visit culminated in a visual presentation showcasing the university’s state-of-the-art facilities, advanced laboratories, engineering workshops, and a comprehensive library equipped with modern resources.
