Dhofar University's College of Engineering Hosts Workshop on Academic Program Development

On November 25, 2024, the College of Engineering at Dhofar University held a specialized workshop on the policy for developing and reviewing academic programs. The event aimed to enhance faculty members’ understanding of the policy framework and implementation mechanisms, ensuring continuous improvement in academic program quality and aligning with accreditation requirements.

The workshop was led by Dr. Issam Al-Bahdoor, Dean of the College, and Dr. Al-Manaa Brahmi, Assistant Dean. It included a comprehensive presentation covering the policy objectives, procedures, and global best practices for effectively developing and reviewing academic programs.

The session saw positive engagement from faculty members, who expressed keen interest in the content and actively discussed practical approaches to applying the policy. The workshop focused on emphasizing the importance of academic development in meeting quality standards, accreditation requirements, and higher education demands.
