On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, Dhofar University had the privilege of hosting Professor Rashid Al Abri – Dean of College of Medicine and Health Sciences – Sultan Qaboos University in a key visit aimed at strengthening the ongoing academic collaboration. The primary objective of the visit was to discuss the progress of the establishment of the new College of Medicine at Dhofar University, in alignment with the commitments outlined in the signed Letter of Agreement between the two universities. This significant event prepares for the first intake of medical students in Dhofar University and underscores the universities’ shared dedication to fostering substantial academic partnerships.
Throughout the visit, Professor Al Abri engaged with faculty and staff initiating insightful discussions around future collaborative initiatives and reinforcing the strategic efforts by the two universities.
