Dhofar University (DU) is located in Dhofar Governorate in the south Sultanate of Oman. Dhofar Governorate is known for its moderate climate, beautiful beaches, unique traditions, and archaeological areas.

How many students are there at DU?

DU has around 5000 students.

How do I apply for admission?

In order to apply for admission, you need to bring a copy of your 12 grade certificate, copies of your ID cards, 4 personal photos, and 30 R.O. as application fees.

How much does it cost to study at DU?

The fees depend on the number of hours of each course. You can calculate your cost of your program by multiplying the number of credit hours by 70 R.O.

As for the Centre for Preparatory Studies, the fees are 900 R. O. per semester.

Does DU accept international students?

Yes, DU accepts transferred students from national and international higher education institution. In order to transfer the credits of your courses, you must bring your transcript and coursers discretion from your old institution.

If you experience any technical difficulties, you can choose one of the following options:

  •  Contact the CNC technical staff who are responsible at your college or building.
  •  Send an email describing your problem to the Computing and Networking Center (CNC) helpdesk@du.edu.om
  •  Call the CNC helpdesk during work hours (from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm) at 23237080 or 23237081.

Visit CNC helpdesk team in the Administration Building, Ground floor, during work hours (from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm).

In order to transfer the credits of your courses, you must bring your transcript and coursers discretion from your old institution.

How do I get my DU email and password?

To get your DU webmail account, you have to request your username and password from the CNC helpdesk in the Administration Building -Ground floor, after providing your ID card for Authentication.

How do I get my DU SIS username and password?

You can call CNC helpdesk at 23237080 or 23237081 to request your username and/or password.
