International Conference Discusses the Role of Law in Environmental Preservation

Under the auspices of Professor Amer Al Rawas, Vice Chancellor of Dhofar University, the College of Law will hold an international virtual conference entitled “The Role of Law in Environmental Conservation” bet between 22nd and 23rd of May, 2024 The Conference proceedings will include four sessions to be held over two days. Two keynote speakers from the Sultanate of Oman will be presenting their contributions on the first day, and on the second day, two main speakers from Saudi Arabia and Algeria will be making their presentations. The conference aims to highlight the significance of legislations in preserving the environment, analyze challenges and problems in implementing relevant laws and regulations and identify best practices in legislations that help to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of environmental conservation, and develop strategies and policies in the field of environmental protection.
