Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing, installing, preparing, upgrading and maintaining the e-learning system.
- Development and maintenance of servers running the system.
- Manage, follow up and create accounts for users in the system.
- Make a backup copy and create software databases.
- Define and define user roles and assign their own privileges.
- Download educational resources to the site, and establish links to research centers.
- Knowing the site visitors from students and professors and conducting statistical analysis for them to issue reports on usage.
- Organize courses and forums aimed at introducing students, teachers and all actors to the importance of e-learning.
- Develop an appropriate strategy for the optimal utilization of modern technologies in the field of e-learning.
- Implementing and applying the standards of total quality control and the requirements of academic accreditation committees in the use of Moodle.
- Technical and technical supervision on the university’s wired network.
- Follow-up status of network equipment and network software.
- Technical and technical fault handling.
- Writing periodic reports on the working status of the networks and their equipment.
- Manage user accounts in the network.
- Managing and developing the University’s website continuously.
- Provide technical support for staff and students to use the wireless network at the university.
- Coordination with different departments of the different faculties to identify their different needs of network devices.
- Set up policies for the wireless network at the university.
- Supervising all distributors and routers in the network.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of information network.
- Extend and maintain the wireless network and ensure access to all aspects and facilities and yards of the university and colleges.
- Coordination with supplier companies of the system.
- Supervising the network telephone network of the university.
- Extension and maintenance of the local telephone network and ensure access to all the facilities and facilities of the university.
- Installation, programming and maintenance of network telephone devices.
- Provide technical support and assistance to users.
- Provide a suitable and safe environment that meets the highest international standards.
- Achieve network and hardware availability 24 hours a day for 7 days a week.
- Coordinate with supplier suppliers and service providers.
- Managing and developing the University’s website continuously.
