Meeting of the Advisory Council of the College of Law

On May 30, 2024, the meeting of the Advisory Council of the College of Law was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Zayn. The Dean of the College welcomed the members of the Council and thanked them for responding to the invitation despite their professional commitments.At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the College presented a visual presentation on the activities of the College for the academic year 2023/2024. During the meeting, the lawyer, Mr. Saeed bin Saad Al-Shahri, spoke about the importance of training and its role in linking theoretical aspects with practical application, and emphasized the need for communication with the legal community so that the College of Law does not become an isolated island from legal practice. He also spoke about the importance of building the legal personality of the law student. Additionally, Sheikh Dr. Ahmed bin Sulaiman bin Muhammad Al-Bousafi spoke about the importance of the Arabic language in the study of law and the need to pay attention to it. The attendees emphasized the importance of the role of the Advisory Council of the College of Law in enhancing the outputs of the College according to its set objectives.
