New Collaboration Between the College of Engineering and ISAG Consulting Engineers

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and support its students, the College of Engineering at Dhofar University hosted a meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, with representatives from Infra-Structure and Architectural Group (ISAG) Consulting Engineers. The meeting marked the official announcement of ISAG’s sponsorship of the student Engineering Society at the college.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Sherif Farghaly, General Manager of ISAG, and Dr. Issam Bahdoor, Dean of the College of Engineering. The two sides discussed potential areas of future collaboration, including internship opportunities for students, support for research projects, and the organization of joint academic and professional events aimed at developing students’ skills and preparing them for the job market.

This initiative is part of the College of Engineering’s vision to enhance cooperation with industrial and consulting institutions, fostering the integration of academic knowledge with practical experience, and contributing to the graduation of well-qualified engineers capable of meeting contemporary challenges.
