Post-Event News: Successful Completion of "MultiSIM Hands-On Training for Electric Circuits and Basic Electronics" Workshop

Dhofar University recently hosted a successful workshop titled “MultiSIM Hands-On Training for Electric Circuits and Basic Electronics” on October 24, 2024, organized by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Held in the CE-001C Lab, this workshop attracted numerous students eager to gain practical skills in circuit simulation and electronics. Led by Dr. Qamar Ul Islam, Ph.D., FHEA, the workshop focused on introducing students to MultiSIM software, widely used for designing and analysing electric circuits. The training provided students with an opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice, using MultiSIM to simulate and troubleshoot electronic circuits. Key aspects covered included an introduction to MultiSIM, hands-on circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques to enhance problem-solving skills. Following the success of this workshop, Dr. Qamar Ul Islam plans to continue with additional workshops focused on robotics programming and related hands-on topics to further equip students with industry-relevant skills.
