The Student Counseling Center organized a discussion session for students on good role models and their impact on personality building. presented by Mr. Ghanem Al-Mashikhi, a specialist in studies and follow-up at the General Directorate of Education in Dhofar Governorate, and a lecturer in the Department of Education at the university. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Mr. Ghanem addressed the importance of good role models and their impact on personality building and gave a detailed explanation of the definition of a good role model and the difference between a role model and an idol. in addition to how to choose a role model, the importance of interacting with them, ways to develop a relationship with a role model, and the need to diversify role models and not be satisfied with just one role model, Mr. Ghanem stressed the need to continuously evaluate the role model from all aspects from time to time. The session included many fruitful and useful discussions among the students about good role models, their importance, and their different opinions about the need to choose good role models in society.
