Student Counselling Center prepares university students for final exams with lecture entitled “Exams without anxiety and stress.”
In conjunction with the oncoming date of final exams for the first semester fall 2023/2024, The Student Counselling Center organized an awareness lecture for university students entitled “Exams without anxiety and stress.”

where Dr. Mohammed Basiouny addressed the importance of attending lectures and that the information that students gain from the lecture will help them to remember, accommodate and answer exams, The importance of time management, how learning occurs, psychological and physical rest, adequate sleep, and healthy diet in reducing stress and anxiety during exams.
Dr. Basiouny then gave a detailed explanation of the definition of anxiety and stress, the causes of stress and anxiety in general in all human beings and students in particular. Thus, the symptoms associated with stress and anxiety situations, their different types and degrees, how to get rid of stress and anxiety situations before final exams and the proper ways to prepare for exams without falling into stress and anxiety situations. He also discussed the most important preventive and adaptive strategies that help students overcome test anxiety. Prior to the end of the lecture, discussions between the students and the lecturer was opened with the answer to all their questions.
