Talk on The Rights and Responsibilities of Higher Education Student Advisory Councils

Responsibilities and rights of student advisory councils in higher education institutions is the title of a talk organized by the Student Affairs Department on Monday, October 21, 2024. In the talk, Lawyer Abdulaziz Mohammed Ramis Al Rawas, co-founder at Al Kaf and Al Rawas Legal Firm, and Vice President of the Student Advisory Council at Sultan Qaboos University for the academic year 2016 – 2017, highlighted the objectives, roles, rights, and duties of student advisory councils, focusing on all matters concerning these councils to the endorsed organizational guidelines. Mr. Al Rawas also reflected on his personal experience in the Student Advisory Council at Sultan Qaboos University to highlight the significance of these councils and their roles in improving campus life and supporting student representation.
