The Center for Student Counseling (CSC) participated in the activities of the orientation days in the various colleges of the university
The Center for Student Counseling (CSC) participated in the activities of the orientation days for new students with the start of the new academic year (fall) 2024/2025, with the Center for Preparatory Studies, the College of Arts and Applied Sciences (Caas), the College of Engineering (CE), the College of Commerce and Business Administrative (CCBA) and College Law (CL), the Deanship of Admissions, Registration and Student Affairs. The center’s participation began during the period from September 8, 2024, to October 9, 2024. Through its participation, the center provided a detailed explanation of the center, its goals, mission and services it provides to all university students and its role in supporting the teaching and learning process and informing students of the ways and means of adapting to their new university life. The first participation was through the event organized by the Deanship of Admissions, Registration and Student Affairs, represented by the Student Affairs Department for all new students at the university, which lasted for three days from September 8-10, 2024, then also a corner in the College of Commerce and Business Administration, as well as the College of Engineering and then the College of Arts and Applied Sciences. The center concluded its participation in the introductory days by participating in the introductory day for the College of Arts and Applied Sciences and College of Law on October 9, 2024, by creating an introductory corner for the center. The corner contained many publications and brochures introductory to the center and the services it provides, in addition to receiving inquiries and questions from students and members of the academic and administrative bodies about the services it provides, ways to communicate with the center, how to benefit from its services, and ways to book interviews through the center’s electronic page or by direct transfer to the center from any party in the university.
