Vice Chancellor Meets Newly-Elected Student Advisory Council Members

Dhofar University Vice Chancellor, Professor Amer bin Ali Al Rawas, convened with the newly elected members of the Student Advisory Council (SAC) for the Academic Year 2023-2024. Professor Al Rawas congratulated the new SAC team and commended the former SAC team for its efforts and initiatives.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor stressed the important role played by SAC as a strategic partner in managing the University by conveying students’ concerns, ideas, initiatives as well as outstanding challenges. Professor Al Rawas further stated that he looked forward to SAC’s effective performance and requested its members to provide a plan of action including the proposed initiatives, timeframe and implementing party for each initiative or proposal.

The Vice Chancellor concluded the meeting by thanking SAC members for attending the meeting and wishing the council every success in its term for the Academic Year 2023-2024.
