A Promising Actress

I am Maitha Othman Al-Saadi from Al-Masn'a. I’m 21. I study
at Dhofar University with a specialization in Management

Information Systems (third year).

I'm a theater fan. My beginnings in acting were in the school
theater, but I did not find encouragement from the officials in

primary or high school. The actual start was in the festival of

the Dhofar University. It was my first theater experience. I

was given the starring role. I also received the award of the
best actress by the director, Anoud Kalbani.

I also took part in Boshinki's play, Alruwya , in the theatrical
event Days of the Street. The play was awarded the third

place. After that I had the chance to take part in two other

theatrical sketches. One of the experiences that I’m proud of
is when I acted in a play that represented Dhofar in the festival

of Nizwa’s Theater Arts and several other external events.

My first short movie was the role of the character

Conscience in the play of Sirae. It is the best show I

have done because it is full of feelings and deep emotions and
because it touched part of me.
