                              Prof. Dr. Faris Alshubiri (Full professor of Finance in the College of Commerce and Business
                              Administration and Director of Postgraduate Studies at DU) participated and presented a
                              paper entitled " Does Information Communication Technology Matter for Environmental,
                              Social, and Governance Sustainability Paradigm? Evidence from MENA Countries" at the
                              IBDE 2024 Conference held by the College of Business, University of Jordan, between 21 -
                              23 May 2024. The paper discussed the importance of technological innovation in the ICT
                              sector, which leads to sustainability policies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and
                              increase energy efficiency, including the adoption of renewable energy.
