Memoir of I’ve been a carpenter the entirety of my life. Since the day I

was born, I was destined to work as a carpenter. I’ve known no
a Carpenter material other than wood and occasionally some steel here and

there. Golden oak and blue mahogany are my favorites to work

with, for they have never failed me and I can always rely on

them. My creations are vast and various. I could be building a

house for the safety of a family and sometimes all I would build

is a corked stud to close off the space that no one wanted to open

in the first place. But, what I am especially good at is building

         bridges.

Light Is So Beautiful?" with. This allows me to have enough time to perfect my craft.

A lot of people say that it is perfect, but no one can be perfect.

There will always be that unseen crack or splinter among the

layers of my work. Not that I can help it, but it keeps me humble

and reminds me that I am but a human being, and I am no perfect

being and I have my flaws and gripes. Thus, I must always strive

         to improve and develop.

I never looked upon the task I was assigned as a curse or a

punishment. I quite enjoy it, despite the fact that sometimes I

get some unruly customers whose requests and designs are

quite baffling and unreal. But, I make them anyways. It is their

“designs” and their “requests”, even if they want a chair with no

legs or a bridge with no pillars. Who am I to tell them no? That
