like the moon and I couldn’t make out her facial features. “Does
it have a name?” She asked me. I couldn’t answer her, for she
was matching the beauty of the very bridge she was standing
on. If anything, outmatching it! “No, I don’t think so,” I replied.
“Perhaps you should name it...,” she said, and her voice was
inaudible as she started to walk away and vanish into the mist
of the waterfall.
As I snapped out of my dream, the words “happiness” and
“light” were resonating in my head from the encounter with that
woman in my dreams. I woke up in a haze feeling as if I wasn’t
dreaming, but I was living in another realm. I rushed towards
the bridge, hoping that I would see that “her” over there if I ran
fast enough. Sadly, she wasn’t there. Then again, the beauty of
the bridge washed off such sadness.
I feel content when I look at the bridge now after that dream.
I feel happy and merry whenever I walk on it. I feel and see a
glimmer of shining hope when I reminisce about the days when
I was making it.
And thus, my most prized creation was named, “The Light of
Happiness.”
