I was accepted at Dhofar University in 2017 with a paid government
scholarship. It was my first step in a life of self-reliance. In there, I went
through good days and bad days. At first, I was not happy with my major (Bachelor
of English Language Arts). I thought that this major was not suitable for me. I wanted to
study Mathematics. Unfortunately, my scholarship was not transferred to this major, so I had
to accept my fate. My first struggle was to strive in the specialization and excel in it.

speaking one. In addition, I wrote an article in our FP Chronicle. It was then that I realized that with some effort, I

in teaching. I liked the idea, so I decided to talk to some officials from the university and the
dormitory administration to open a centre like the one at the university, but for the sake of dormitory
students. Despite all this work, I did not neglect my studies, and my grades were perfect.
However, I felt that I had more energy inside of me. I started to look for a job that pays well. I managed
to work with a research centre for a company. I did not have to go to the company or do work outside the
university. All I had to do was do a few interviews with some people. It was a blessing to help me move
