Layo chose to give up, ditch everything and go back, but Neon came up

        with an idea! He told her that the aliens came to their house when their

        mother, Lunin, did an act that exposed the aliens and that they should do

        the same. Perhaps the aliens would come to them, as they were the only

        ones who knew about them. Neon was excited and frightened at the same

        time by the idea of meeting his mother, who had killed his father ten years

        ago. Layo decided to come out of the house and stand in the middle of the

        street to announce that she had news she wanted to say about some aliens.

        Everyone was surprised by what she said, but no one believed her because

        she was only ten years old.


        On that night, Neon never slept, as he was waiting for the spaceship, and

        indeed, the spaceship came with seven aliens on board, and the strange

        thing is that everyone on board looked like humans! The two of them did

        not say a word throughout the journey, and when they crossed the barrier,

        they noticed that the aliens had turned into strange creatures with very long

        legs, big yellow eyes, and purple skin colour mixed with red and orange

        stripes, and they had very long ears, too! Because the two were terrified by

        what happened, one of the aliens identified himself as the ship’s captain,

        and that Neon and Layo were the only half-aliens left on planet Earth!

        They did not transform because they were half human and half alien, and

        they had the advantage of shifting by choice only if they learned how to.


        The commander informed the two that he could not provide any information

        about their mother until they arrived on the planet Nera, but they were glad

        to hear the news anyway. They were astounded by what they saw when

        the ship arrived and could not believe what their eyes had seen. Neon and
