Higher education represents the cornerstone of
development and prosperity, with universities playing
a pivotal role in preparing generations capable of
contributing to building the future. In this context,
the Board of Trustees of Dhofar University is
commi ed to supporting the university’s strategic
directions and enhancing its academic and research
capabilities in alignment with Oman Vision 2040 and
its ambitious goals in education and innovation.
Thanks to concerted e orts and a clear vision, the
university has made significant strides in
establishing itself as a leading educational
institution, achieving remarkable accomplishments
in academic accreditation and global rankings. These
successes reflect the university’s commitment to
excellence and quality standards, a rming its ability
to compete at both regional and international levels.
The launch of DU’s Foresight newsle er marks a new
step that embodies the vibrant academic
environment of the university and highlights its
intellectual and research contributions. Moreover, it
serves as a platform for communication among
academics, students, and the wider community. This
initiative represents a valuable addition that reflects
the university’s spirit of scientific openness and
continuous development.
On this occasion, I extend my sincere gratitude and
