Vice-Chancellor’s Message

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the first
issue of Foresight, Dhofar University’s Newsle er,
which opens a window into the initiatives and activities
undertaken by the University’s community. By highlighting
the University’s accomplishments and endeavours, we
seek to build bridges with the academic and local
community in education, scientific research, and
community service.
Foresight seeks to become an enriching source of
knowledge and a platform allowing academics and
students to voice their ideas and express their
aspirations for a bright future. We view this
newsle er as a valuable opportunity to communicate
our vision and mission as an esteemed academic
institution and share our achievements reflecting our
ambitious strive for excellence and development.
