Attitudes Towards Online Learning in DU
Learning online has been around for some time. It helped people who can’t
study on campus because of distance, health or other issues. However,
with the COVID-19 threat, online learning has become the primary way of
learning. Because of this, we decided to write a report about DUs students
views about this type of education. For this purpose, a specific questionnaire
has been prepared and distributed among the students through google forms.
Students had to agree disagree or stay neutral with the following statements:
1. I think online learning is helpful.
2. I do not like online learning.
3. Online learning provides an opportunity to ask questions from teachers
anytime.
4. Online learning is good because it saves time and money.
5. I feel really good when the online lecture is delivered.
6. I am unable to understand online lectures and videos because of some
problems like poor signals of the internet.
Our results show a positive attitude toward online learning in FP. 70%
say it saves money, and it is helpful as most of the students say that they
find it easy to ask the teachers about the problems or difficulties they face
during exams or while doing homework. Only 20% found their teachers
unresponsive. On the other hand, 60% of the students also face difficulties
