Welcome Back!
The academic year has started anew – this time, we
face the challenges of bringing students and
faculty back to campus. Once again, flexibility and
adaptability remain key words as we go forward.
"I’m excited that students are back on campus,"
shares Faisal Ben Khalifa, Foundation Program
Director. "True though that this new reality has
brought forth a few challenges, I’m sure we’ll
overcome them as we did when the online classes were introduced one
and half years ago."
While we look to the excitement of face-to-face classes, we still have a
huge online presence. The English and Math departments continue to
modify and update the flipped classroom approach, while some students
in the IT section are still relying heavily on online learning. So, this issue
takes a look at what technology and our own IT group have done.
Working with Pearson Education, students can access Pearson’s IT LMS
MyLab and Mastering, building a more personalized approach to
becoming the tech-savvy graduates that are needed for the future.
