OVERTHINKING

Overthinking is too much or long
thinking, analyzing, or trying to interpret
things repeatedly. Professionals also
call it repetitive negative thinking, and
it has been discovered that this can
cause dementia and may also lead to
Alzheimer's disease. We, as students, are
more exposed to the risks of overthinking.
We live in anxiety and tension throughout
our school and college life. It can be
hazardous for our psychological and
mental health. However, we can avoid
excessive thinking to protect themselves
from future consequences.
First, I want to show how overthinking
can be dangerous for us. The first danger
is insomnia. Insomnia is when you
cannot get enough sleep to be healthy.
For example, when a student continues
to think about the events that happened
in the past and remembers his or her
bad school or university memories, it is
difficult for him/her to enjoy a peaceful
and restful sleep. In fact, many students
