My Craft

I have always been interested in embroidery, especially when I see it in

cartoons and old English movies. Two years ago, my mom, who is good

at sewing, decided to open her small sewing business. I found this as a

chance to expand my hobby and make it a career. I advised her to include

embroidery because it is enjoyable and she can be creative.

We started watching many crafting and embroidery videos on YouTube

and learned the types of stitches. We started embroidering

customers’ names with different fonts and some forms of

roses; then, we expanded the embroidery to different

designs.

This hobby is not that expensive. All you need is a

needle, coloured threads, a piece of clothing, a hoop
to set the fabric on, and a pen to draw the design. When

you become good at this hobby, you can open
your project or enjoy it as a hobby and be

creative. In the end, hobbies are found to
build the individual’s personality and

be an outlet for him.
