                                 Waad Bakhit Ali Al Shihri

After completing high school with a remarkable 97% grade, I was

disappointed to find that I didn't get accepted into the major of my

dreams. However, I decided to approach this setback as an

             opportunity for growth.

Over the course of the year, I dedicated myself to improving my

language and communication skills, excelling in my classes, and
             forming meaningful friendships.

At first, I felt like a cat attempting to swim - out of place and

destined to fail. To my surprise, I discovered that I was more like a

             fish in its natural habitat.

This experience taught me the valuable lesson that every challenge

presents an opportunity for growth, much like how diamonds are

             formed under immense pressure.

I also learned that maintaining a sense of humor and perseverance
can transform any setback into a memorable and enjoyable

             experience.

I believe that new experiences and unexpected journeys are perhaps

the best things that could happen to a person. Stepping out of your

comfort zone might lead to something you truly enjoy...
