Chess is more than just a game;
it’s a test of deep thinking and
meticulous planning. Each move
requires careful analysis and
anticipation of your opponent’s
next steps.
S
E My love affair with chess started in my childhood. My older brother was
I my first mentor, introducing me to this regal game known as the "Game
B of Kings." I began by memorizing the pieces and their movements on
the board. The king, the most crucial piece, must be protected at all
B
costs. If the king falls, the game is over. The queen is the second most
O powerful, followed by the bishop, the knight, the rook, and finally, the
pawns that form the front line of defense.
H
S As I practiced, my skills grew. I learned new tactics and strategies,
T mastering the art of surrounding my opponent until they had no choice
but to surrender or lose their king. The thrill of declaring "Checkmate!"
N is unparalleled.
E
D
U In my view, chess is a game
that sharpens deep thinking
T
and enhances concentration. I
S highly recommend everyone to
learn and practice chess—it’s a
journey worth taking.
