the start of the 2020/2021 academic
year. As classes continued online, the
portfolio material was transferred
online to focus on key OAS elements.
The Muraje'a Centre has also been
moved online, where it continues to
serve FP students. The goal of the
Muraje'a Centre is to ensure that no
student is left behind in the online
MATH learning process.
The restructuring process for all levels
has been completed and the new study
plans for the current academic year are
being used. To develop and enhance the
curriculum, the FP administration has
confirmed their partnership with Pearson
Education. Pearson’s LMS, called MyLab
Math and Mastering, is being rolled out
this term for all new students. Also, a
webinar titled, “Math Online Teaching,
IT
Learning and Assessment: Challenges and
Solutions,” is planned for February 25.
The IT department has also benefited
from the FP’s partnership with Pearson
Education. IT students now have access
to Pearson’s IT LMS MyLab and
Mastering. Through this new platform,
students receive trusted content and
resources through an expansive course
materials library. New pre-built
learning modules guide students
through an authentic learning
experience that builds skills-based
competency while also developing
critical thinking skills.
