FIRST IN OMAN: COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING SIGNS
MOU WITH GREEN BUILDING SOLUTIONS, VIENNA
On behalf of Dhofar University, Prof. Amer Al
Rawas, the Vice Chancellor, signed an MOU
with the Green Building Solutions (GBS)
Summer University, organized by prestigious
universities in Vienna.
University is primarily
collaboration with
institutions, including the University of
Natural Resources and Life Sciences
Vienna, the Technical University Vienna, and
the University of Vienna. More than 60
international partners support the GBS.

The Summer
conducted in
leading Austrian
The program includes three weeks of intensive
courses, field visits, and practical projects,
offering a comprehensive blend of theoretical
learning and practical application in sustainable
construction. It aims to enhance student
knowledge and integrate diverse scientific
backgrounds, particularly in sustainability and
environmental development, within the College
of Engineering’s Department of Architecture.
Additionally, the College of Engineering will
provide one distinguished student with a unique
scholarship opportunity to attend the program,
coordinated by Dr. Lamiaa Mostafa from the
Department of Architecture Engineering.
